Till I Find A Place – The Movie: Coming in 2010

New York, December.18th, 2009: Mahadeo Shivraj in association with Stealth Productions is scheduled to release “Till I find A Place” the movie in early 2010. This movie is an adaptation of the work of Guyanese playwright Ronald Hollingsworth’s popular stage play “Till I Find A Place.”
Hollingsworth holds the distinction of achieving the best Guyanese playwright awards consecutively from [1995-1998] for having written Watch De Ride, Stampin, 83 Million Gees, Viagra – Granddad’s Day Out and Till’ Ah Find Ah Place which was his first and most popular play to date.
“Till I find A Place” is set on the backdrop of Georgetown, Guyana. Dave and Sonia are happily married and live an ordinary life until one night a friend comes knocking because her home was ruined in a storm. Sonia, against the wishes of her husband who unwaveringly objected that it is never a good to accommodate friends for extended periods of time, opens her home to her friend until she is able to find one of her own.
As the couple begin to to adjust to their new housemate, Sonia is called away to New York and in the absence of his wife, Dave falls prey to his innate desires. Donna becomes pregnant and determines that she’s going to become the new mistress of the home.
“Till I find A Place” is shot on location in Campbelville, Georgetown. It is the first featured movie that includes a cast and crew of all Guyanese. Click here to view the official trailer. This film is not yet rated.
